Ingredients/Components

  • salt - 1 tsp
  • flour - 1 Tbsp
  • shortening - 1 Tbsp
  • hot water
  • chopped green pepper - 1/2 item
  • cooked rice - 3 c
  • cayenne pepper - 1/2 tsp
  • chopped white onions - 2 item
  • minced clove of garlic - 1/2 item
  • or more raw duck, chicken or turkey giblets, ground - 1 c
  • chopped ribs celery - 2 item

How to make jambalaya:

Melt shortening in large skillet. Add flour. Cook and stir on low heat until dark red-brown. Add remaining ingredients (except rice). Cook on low heat for 1 hour. Combine with rice.
