Ingredients/Components
- salt - 1 tsp
- flour - 1 Tbsp
- shortening - 1 Tbsp
- hot water
- chopped green pepper - 1/2 item
- cooked rice - 3 c
- cayenne pepper - 1/2 tsp
- chopped white onions - 2 item
- minced clove of garlic - 1/2 item
- or more raw duck, chicken or turkey giblets, ground - 1 c
- chopped ribs celery - 2 item
How to make jambalaya:
Melt shortening in large skillet. Add flour. Cook and stir on low heat until dark red-brown. Add remaining ingredients (except rice). Cook on low heat for 1 hour. Combine with rice.Recipe categories: Poultry, Meat, Cajun.
