  • jam - 2 c
  • allspice - 2 tsp
  • sweet milk - 1 c
  • eggs, beaten separately - 6 item
  • butter size of egg - 1 item
  • preserves any kind - 2 c
  • Bake in 3 9-inch cake pans at 325° until done

How to make jam cake:

Cream butter and sugar; add egg yolks and other ingredients and fold in egg whites last. Bake in 3 (9-inch) cake pans at 325° until done.Filling:2 c. cake batter2 c. sugar1 c. sweet milk butter (size of egg) Cook in heavy pan until looks thick and dark.
