Ingredients/Components
- eggs - 4 item
- milk - 1/2 c
- sour cream - 1 c
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- instant chocolate pudding - 1 pkg
- chocolate chips - 1 pkg
- vegetable oil - 1/2 c
- shortening - 1/2 c
- light corn syrup - 1/4 c
- chocolate cake mix - 1 pkg
- unsweetened chocolate, cut up - 2 sq
- Pour into greased tube pan and bake in a 350° oven for 1 hour
How to make chocolate cake:
Mix 3 or 4 minutes, then add chips by hand and fold in. Pour into greased tube pan and bake in a 350° oven for 1 hour.Frosting:2 c. sugar1/4 c. light corn syrup1/2 c. milk1/2 c. shortening2 sq. unsweetened chocolate, cut up1/2 tsp. salt Stir over low heat until chocolate and shortening melt. Bring to full boil, stirring constantly. When a soft ball forms (about 2 1/2 minutes), remove from heat. Stir in 1 teaspoon vanilla. Beat until lukewarm.Recipe categories: Desserts, Chocolate, Cakes.
