Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 2 c
- cinnamon - 1 tsp
- eggs - 4 item
- milk - 1 c
- flour - 3 c
- butter - 1 c
- vanilla flavoring - 1 tsp
- coconut - 1 item
- soda - 1 tsp
- buttermilk - 1/2 c
- nuts - 1 c
- raisins - 1 c
- lemon flavoring - 1 tsp
- nuts, chopped - 1 c
- cloves - 1 tsp
- jam - 1 c
- allspice - 1 tsp
- whole orange - 1 item
- small can pineapple crushed - 1 item
- Add eggs and flour
- dried fruit stewed - 1 c
How to make jam cake:
Cream butter and sugar. Add eggs and flour. Mix all other ingredients, one at a time, mixing after each addition. Cook at 325° in 2 oblong pans for 35 to 45 minutes or until toothpick comes out clean.Filling:3 c. sugar1 whole orange1 c. raisins1 small can pineapple (crushed)1 c. milk1 coconut1 c. nuts, chopped Boil sugar and milk together until caramel.
