Ingredients/Components
- pkg - 1 oz
- small onion, chopped - 1 item
- margarine, melted - 3/4 c
- can cream of chicken soup - 1 item
- sour cream - 8 oz
- salt - 1 tsp
- Velveeta cheese - 12 oz
- crushed corn flakes - 1 item
How to make hash brown casserole:
Crumble the hash browns into a 9 x 13-inch baking dish. Combine 1/2 cup melted margarine, cream of chicken soup, sour cream, salt and onion; spread over hash browns. Cut the cheese into cubes and spread over the top of the casserole. Sprinkle the corn flakes over top. Drizzle the remaining 1/4 cup margarine over all. Bake 45 to 60 minutes at 350°.Can be fixed the night before and refrigerated before cooking.
