  • sugar - 1/4 c
  • cornstarch - 1 Tbsp
  • water - 1/4 c
  • vinegar - 1/4 c
  • margarine - 1 Tbsp
  • salt and pepper - 1 item
  • 2 can beets

How to make harvard beets:

Mix sugar and cornstarch; add water and vinegar. Boil 5 minutes. Drain beets and add. Cook slowly, stirring occasionally until beets are heated. Add margarine; season with salt and pepper.
