Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1/2 c
- flour - 2 to
- shortening - 1/3 c
- hot water - 1 c
- warm water - 1/4 c
- egg, beaten - 1 item
- yeast - 1 pkg
How to make dinner rolls:
Mix yeast and 1/4 cup warm water. Put shortening in large bowl. Add sugar and hot water; stir until shortening is melted. Add yeast and egg. Blend in flour and place in refrigerator. Will keep 3 to 4 days.Turn dough onto floured surface. Knead until smooth and satiny. Let rise until double in size. Bake at 425° for 15 to 20 minutes.
