Sour cream coffee cake



  • sugar - 2 c
  • cinnamon - 1 tsp
  • eggs - 2 item
  • vanilla - 1/2 tsp
  • sour cream - 1 c
  • salt - 1/4 tsp
  • brown sugar - 2 Tbsp
  • baking powder - 1 tsp
  • sifted cake flour - 2 c
  • margarine - 1 c
  • finely chopped nuts

How to make sour cream coffee cake:

Topping:1 c. finely chopped nuts1 tsp. cinnamon2 Tbsp. brown sugar Cream together margarine, sugar and eggs. Fold in sour cream and vanilla, then sifted dry ingredients. Spoon half the batter into a greased and floured 10-inch tube pan, cover with half the topping, then repeat. Bake at 350° for 60 minutes. Cool almost completely before removing from pan. Sprinkle top with sifted confectioners sugar. Best served the day after baking.
