Deer jerky
Ingredients/Components
- garlic powder - 2/3 tsp
- Worcestershire sauce - 1/2 c
- soy sauce - 1/2 c
- seasoned salt - 2 tsp
- black pepper - 2/3 tsp
- Accent - 2 tsp
- onion powder - 2 tsp
- liquid smoke - 4 tsp
- venison, cut 3/8-inch thick strips - 3 lb
How to make deer jerky:
Combine all ingredients (except meat) in large bowl. Mix well. Add meat to mixture and marinate for 24 hours. Line bottom of oven with aluminum foil. Take toothpicks and put two pieces of meat on them and hang from rack in oven. Dry in oven 6 to 8 hours at 150°. Leave oven door open approximately one inch.Recipe categories: Meat, Wild game, Deer.
