Ingredients/Components
- cinnamon - 1 tsp
- salt - 2 tsp
- brown sugar - 1/2 c
- water - 1 c
- nutmeg - 1 tsp
- ginger - 1/2 tsp
- cooking oil - 2 Tbsp
- pepper - 1/8 tsp
- onion, sliced - 1 item
- bay leaves - 4 item
- clove garlic, diced - 1 item
- red cooking wine - 1/2 c
- beef pot roast, chicken or brisket - 3 lb
How to make swedish pot roast:
Combine nutmeg, cinnamon, ginger, salt and pepper. Rub into meat. Brown meat in oil. In crock-pot, combine onion, garlic and brown sugar. Dissolve in wine, water and bay leaves. Add meat, potatoes, carrots, etc. Cook on high 4 to 5 hours.Recipe categories: Meat, Beef, Roast beef.
