Ingredients/Components
- garlic powder - 1/2 tsp
- Worcestershire sauce - 1/4 c
- soy sauce - 1/4 c
- seasoned salt - 1/2 tsp
- black pepper - 1/2 tsp
- Accent - 1 tsp
- onion powder - 1 tsp
- liquid smoke - 2 Tbsp
- steak flank or brisket
How to make beef jerky:
Trim off fat; slice meat with grain and thin. Place meat in shallow pan. Combine other ingredients and pour over meat. Marinate overnight. Preheat oven to 125°. Lay strips on oven rack in single layer; put foil on bottom of oven to catch drippings. Leave oven door open a crack. Test occasionally.
