Curried fruit



  • brown sugar - 1 c
  • butter - 1/3 c
  • cornstarch - 2 Tbsp
  • curry powder - 1 tsp
  • bananas, sliced - 2 item
  • jar maraschino cherries - 1/2 item
  • can pineapple chunks - 16 oz
  • can fruit cocktail - 29 oz

How to make curried fruit:

In medium saucepan melt butter. Drain all fruit and mix together. Combine curry, sugar and cornstarch. Add to fruit mixture. Stir gently. Top with extra cherries. Bake at 350° for 40 minutes. Serve warm or cold with ice cream or Cool Whip.
