Ingredients/Components
- can peaches - 1 oz
- can pears - 1 oz
- can pineapple chunks - 1 oz
- can apricots - 1 oz
- bottle red cherries - 1 oz
- cornstarch - 1 Tbsp
- brown sugar - 3 Tbsp
- curry powder - 1 tsp
- orange rind peel - 1 tsp
How to make hot curried fruit:
Drain all fruit, reserving juice. Mix cornstarch, sugar, curry powder and orange peel together. Pour juice in saucepan and cook with cornstarch mixture over medium heat until mixture begins to thicken. Put all fruit in a 13 x 9-inch Pyrex dish. Pour cooked fruit juice over fruit and cook at 350° for 15 minutes.Recipe categories: Low protein, Fruit, Side dish.
