Ingredients/Components
- brown sugar - 2/3 c
- butter - 1/3 c
- curry powder - 4 tsp
- can pineapple chunks - 1 item
- can peaches - 1 item
- to 12 maraschino cherries - 10 item
- can apricots - 1 item
- can pear halves - 1 item
How to make curried fruit:
Cream together butter, brown sugar and curry powder. Drain fruit well and put in a 2-quart baking dish. Cover with sugar mixture. Bake at 325° for 1 hour. Cool and refrigerate. Reheat and serve. May use any fruit except fruit cocktail.Recipe categories: Pineapple, Side dish, Tropical fruits.
