Curried fruit
Ingredients/Components
- brown sugar - 1/3 c
- curry powder - 1 tsp
- large can pineapple chunks - 1 item
- large can pear halves - 1 item
- margarine melted - 1/4 c
- large can apricot halves - 1 item
How to make curried fruit:
Drain fruits reserving 2 Tbsp. of each juice. Arrange fruit in baking dish. Combine juices, melted margarine, brown sugar, and curry powder. Mix well and drizzle over fruit. Bake in preheated oven at 350° for 20 minutes. Good served with ham, turkey, or lamb. Serves 8 to 10.Recipe categories: Pineapple, Side dish, Tropical fruits.
