Ingredients/Components
- popped corn - 7 qt
- peanuts - 1 c
- brown sugar - 2 c
- margarine - 1 c
- white corn syrup - 1/2 c
- salt - 1 tsp
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- soda - 1/2 tsp
How to make crispy caramel corn:
Measure into saucepan brown sugar, margarine, corn syrup and salt. Bring to boil and boil for 5 minutes. Remove from heat and stir in vanilla and soda. Pour over popped corn and peanuts, then mix well. Spread it onto two large pans. Bake at 250° for 1 hour, stirring every 15 minutes.Recipe categories: Lunch/snacks, Snacks, North american.
