Caramel popcorn
Ingredients/Components
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- salt - 1 tsp
- brown sugar - 2 c
- soda - 1 tsp
- margarine - 1 c
- popped corn - 6 qt
- white corn syrup - 1/2 c
How to make caramel popcorn:
Boil brown sugar, white corn syrup, margarine and salt in saucepan for 5 minutes. Remove from heat and add soda and vanilla. Stir well over popped corn. Spread in large roaster. Place in oven for 1 hour at 200°. Stir every 15 minutes. Remove from oven; press down. Cool. Store, covered.Recipe categories: Lunch/snacks, Snacks, Grains.
