Ingredients/Components

  • flour - 1 Tbsp
  • butter - 1/4 c
  • heavy cream - 2 c
  • chunky peanut butter - 1 c
  • cans chicken broth - 3 3/4
  • finely chopped onion - 1/3 c
  • finely chopped celery - 1 c

How to make cream of peanut soup:

Saute onion and celery in butter about 5 minutes. Remove from heat; add flour and peanut butter. Stir until peanut butter is melted. Gradually add broth. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer, uncovered, for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally. Stir in heavy cream; heat a few minutes longer, until hot.
