Cream of peanut soup
Ingredients/Components
- flour - 1 Tbsp
- butter - 1/4 c
- heavy cream - 2 c
- chunky peanut butter - 1 c
- cans chicken broth - 3 3/4
- finely chopped onion - 1/3 c
- finely chopped celery - 1 c
How to make cream of peanut soup:
Saute onion and celery in butter about 5 minutes. Remove from heat; add flour and peanut butter. Stir until peanut butter is melted. Gradually add broth. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer, uncovered, for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally. Stir in heavy cream; heat a few minutes longer, until hot.Recipe categories: Soups & stews, Bisques/cream soups, Low Carb.
