Cream of mushroom soup
Ingredients/Components
- flour - 3 Tbsp
- butter - 6 Tbsp
- light cream - 3/4 c
- bay leaf - 1 item
- black pepper - 1/8 tsp
- medium onion, chopped - 1 item
- mushrooms, chopped - 1/2 lb
- bouillon - 3 c
How to make cream of mushroom soup:
Melt butter in a heavy pan; add the onions and stir until transparent. Add mushrooms and cook for 4 minutes, stirring. Remove the mixture from the heat and blend in flour. Add bouillon slowly, stirring constantly. Add bay leaf and pepper. Bring mixture to a boil, reduce heat and simmer for 5 minutes.
