Country chicken nuggets
Ingredients/Components
- milk - 1 Tbsp
- butter, melted - 4 Tbsp
- thyme leaves
- corn flake crumbs - 1 c
- oregano leaves
- boneless chicken breasts, skinned and cut into 1-inch pieces - 4 item
- dairy sour cream low-fat
- country style Dijon mustard - 2 Tbsp
How to make country chicken nuggets:
Sauce:1 c. dairy sour cream (low-fat)2 Tbsp. country style Dijon mustard1 Tbsp. milk Heat oven to 425°. In small bowl, stir together corn flake crumbs, oregano and thyme. Dip chicken pieces in melted butter, then coat with crumb mixture. Place chicken 1/2-inch apart on baking sheet. Bake for 10 to 15 minutes or until fork-tender and crisp. Meanwhile, in a small bowl, stir together all sauce ingredients. Serve nuggets with sauce. Makes about 30 nuggets.Tip: Nuggets can be baked ahead of time and reheated at 350° for 10 minutes.
