Ingredients/Components
- can cream of chicken soup - 1 item
- grated onion
- parsley - 1 Tbsp
- salt - 1 tsp
- thyme - 1/3 tsp
- chicken - 3 lb
- celery flakes - 1/2 tsp
- water
- Minute rice, uncooked
How to make country chicken:
Brown chicken in Crisco (I like to roll chicken in Progresso Italian style bread crumbs). Put remaining ingredients (except rice) in saucepan and bring to a boil. Put rice in bottom of baking pan. Pour 1/2 sauce over; add chicken and pour remaining sauce over. Bake at 350° for 1 hour (paprika before baking).Recipe categories: Chicken, Main dish, Poultry.
