Spicy spaghetti
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1 Tbsp
- eggs - 2 item
- milk - 1/2 c
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- bay leaf - 1 item
- ground beef - 1 lb
- bread crumbs - 1 c
- can tomato paste - 6 oz
- basil leaves - 1/2 tsp
- thyme leaves - 1/4 tsp
- medium onion, chopped - 1 item
- can whole tomatoes, cut up - 28 oz
- crushed red pepper - 1/2 tsp
- marjoram leaves - 1/4 tsp
- chopped fresh parsley or 1 Tbsp - 1/4 c
- oregano leaves - 1/8 tsp
- fennel seed, crushed - 1/2 tsp
How to make spicy spaghetti:
Combine first 6 ingredients for meatballs. Shape into balls. Brown in small amount of oil in Dutch oven. Add remaining ingredients to meatballs in Dutch oven. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer, covered, for 1 hour, stirring occasionally. Serve over spaghetti with Parmesan cheese.Recipe categories: Main dish, Spaghetti, One Dish meal.
