Ingredients/Components
- eggs, lightly beaten - 4 item
- light cream - 1/2 1
- chopped onion - 2 Tbsp
- chopped green bell pepper - 1/4 c
- Swiss cheese, grated
- Jimmy Dean sausage any flavor - 1 pkg
- 9-inch pie shell, premade or homemade deep dish
How to make country breakfast pie:
Cook sausage until done. Crumble, then drain. Prepare 9-inch pie shell. Mix cheese and sausage. Sprinkle in pie shell. Lightly beat eggs in bowl. Combine remaining ingredients and add to egg mixture. Pour into shell. Bake at 375° for 40 to 45 minutes. Cool on rack 10 minutes. Yields 6 to 8 servings.Recipe categories: < 60 mins, Breakfast, Time to make.
