Cola ribs
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1 tsp
- salt - 1 tsp
- vegetable oil - 3 Tbsp
- garlic powder - 1 tsp
- pepper - 1 tsp
- Worcestershire sauce - 2 Tbsp
- hot pepper sauce - 2 Tbsp
- bottle chili sauce - 1 oz
- cross cut beef ribs - 4 5
- can cola beverage - 1 oz
How to make cola ribs:
In small bowl, combine the salt, pepper and garlic powder. Rub mixture over the surface of the ribs. In a large pot or Dutch oven, heat the oil over medium-high heat and brown the ribs on all sides.Meanwhile, in a large bowl, combine remaining ingredients. After the ribs are brown, drain the oil from the pot. Pour the cola mixture over the ribs and cook over medium heat for 1 1/2 to 2 hours or until cooked and tender, turning and basting ribs occasionally. Yield: 4 to 5 servings.
Note: Serve with the pan drippings as a dipping sauce. Enjoy it's so good!
