Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1 c
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- chopped pecans - 1 c
- butter or margarine - 1/2 c
- evaporated milk - 1 c
- egg yolks - 3 item
How to make coconut pecan frosting:
Combine first 5 ingredients. Cook and stir over medium heat until thickened, about 12 minutes. Add coconut and pecans. Beat until thick enough to spread. Makes 2 1/2 c. I like better than store bought.Recipe categories: Desserts, Cakes, Cake fillings and frostings.
