milk
cream cheese, softened - 8 oz
Cool Whip, thawed - 8 oz
large bag Oreo cookies - 1 item
powder sugar - 1 c
butter/margarine, softened - 1/4 c
vanilla or French vanilla instant pudding

How to make dirt cake:

Grind 1 package Oreo cookies into crumbs. Set aside. Combine butter, cream cheese and powder sugar together. Set aside. Combine milk, pudding let set. Add Cool Whip to pudding and then add the cream cheese mixture. In a new large flowerpot, washed very well or a glass bowl, layer Oreo's then pudding mixture, keep layering crumbs, then pudding mixture until all ingredients are used. Ending with cookie crumbs on the top layer. Refrigerate overnight.

Tammy says: Before serving, place an arrangement of silk flowers in the middle of the pot.

Nancy says: You can buy gummy worms and insert them throughout the mixture. Serve cake using a garden spade, brand new preferred.
