Chocolate cherry bars

- sugar
- pkg - 1 oz
- milk - 1/3 c
- eggs, beaten - 2 item
- almond extract - 1 tsp
- margarine or butter - 5 Tbsp
- can cherry fruit pie filling - 1 oz
How to make chocolate cherry bars:
Frosting:1 c. sugar1/3 c. milk5 Tbsp. margarine or butter1 (6 oz.) pkg. semi-sweet chocolate chips (1 c.) Heat oven to 350°. Grease and flour 15 x 10 x 1-inch baking pan or 13 x 9-inch pan. In large bowl, combine all bar ingredients; stir until well blended. Spread in greased and floured pan. Bake at 350° until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. For 15 x 10 x 1-inch pan, bake 20 to 30 minutes. For 13 x 9-inch pan, bake 25 to 30 minutes. In small saucepan, combine sugar, milk and margarine. Bring to a boil. Boil 1 minute, stirring constantly. Remove from heat. Stir in chocolate chips until smooth. Cool completely. Cut into bars 36 to 48 bars. Bake 15 x 10 x 1-inch pan at 375° for 20 to 30 minutes.
