Chocolate cherry bars
Ingredients/Components
- pkg - 1 cup
- eggs, beaten - 2 item
- almond extract - 1 tsp
- margarine or butter - 5 Tbsp
- cup sugar - 1 item
- cup milk - 1/3 item
- devils food cake mix - 1 pkg
- can cherry fruit filling - 21 oz
How to make chocolate cherry bars:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease and flour 15 x 10 inch jelly roll pan or 13 x 9 inch pan. In large bowl, combine first four ingredients. Stir by hand until well mixed. Pour into pan. Bake jelly roll pan 20 - 30 minutes, 13 x 9 inch pan 25 - 30 minutes.In small saucepan, combine sugar, margarine and milk. Boil stirring constantly, one minute. Remove from heat; stir in chocolate chips until smooth. Pour over warm bars or cake.
