Ingredients/Components
- milk - 1/2 c
- flour
- oil - 1/2 c
- onion soup mix - 1 pkg
- parsley flakes - 1 item
- large potatoes - 4 item
- salt and pepper to taste - 1 item
- can cream of mushroom soup - 1 item
- chicken bouillon cubes - 6 item
- stalks celery, sliced - 4 item
- carrots, sliced - 4 item
- chickens - 2 item
How to make chicken pot pie:
Crust:2 c. flour1/2 c. oil1/2 c. milk Boil the chickens with bouillon cubes. Salt and pepper. Cover half with water. Cook completely; save broth. Bone chickens. In broth, cook the potatoes, carrots, celery, onion soup mix and parsley flakes (dash). Cook until tender and add mushroom soup. Put in a 13 x 9-inch pan and cover with crust. Cook 1 1/2 hours at 350° until brown.For Crust: Mix together oil and milk. Add to flour and roll out.
If desired, chop cooked chicken into chunks or cubes.
