Chicken tetrazzini
Ingredients/Components
- pkg - 1 oz
- milk - 2 c
- flour - 3 tsp
- margarine - 1/4 c
- chopped onion - 1/2 c
- can cream of chicken soup - 1 item
- salt and pepper to taste - 1 item
- can cream of mushroom soup - 1 item
- celery salt - 1/2 tsp
- chopped bell pepper - 1/2 c
- Cheddar cheese - 1/2 c
- boiled chicken - 2 c
How to make chicken tetrazzini:
Cook noodles according to package. Saute onions and bell pepper in margarine. Stir in flour slowly until thick. Add seasonings and cheese; stir until melted. Add 2 cups milk, soups, chicken (chopped), and noodles. Turn into shallow baking dish and cover with bread crumbs. Bake at 400° for 15 to 20 minutes or until browned on top.Tip: Shredded cheese may be added to top 10 minutes before removing from oven.
