Ingredients/Components
- pkg - 1 oz
- salt - 1 tsp
- 8 oz - 1 c
- pepper - 1/2 tsp
- Worcestershire sauce - 2 Tbsp
- chopped onion - 3/4 c
- chopped celery - 1/2 c
- can tomato sauce - 1 oz
- ground beef - 2 lb
- can tomato paste - 1 oz
- can mushrooms - 1 oz
- chopped bell pepper - 1/2 c
- minced garlic clove - 1 item
How to make beef casserole:
Brown ground beef, onion, garlic, bell pepper and celery in a skillet; drain off excess fat. Combine with remaining ingredients, except the shredded cheese and cooked macaroni shells. Let it simmer until mixture thickens, then put into a 3-quart casserole dish over the macaroni. Bake, covered, at 350° for 45 minutes.
