- whole chicken - 1 item
- cans mixed vegetables, drained - 2 item
- boiled eggs, shredded - 4 item
- can celery or mushroom soup - 1 item
- chicken broth use broth chicken was boiled in
- self-rising flour - 1 c
- milk - 1 c
- stick butter, melted - 1 item
How to make chicken pie:
Cook chicken and remove from bone (overnight in crock-pot). Place in large casserole dish. Add veggies and shredded eggs. Mix soup and chicken broth; pour on top. Add 1/2 cup more broth to keep from drying out. Mix flour, milk and butter well; pour over chicken mixture. Do not stir!
