Ingredients/Components
- eggs - 2 item
- plain flour - 1/2 c
- cream - 2 Tbsp
- pepper - 1/2 tsp
- garlic salt - 1 tsp
- onion salt - 1 tsp
- lean round steak
- white crackers, crushed - 2 c
How to make chicken fried steak:
Mix flour, pepper and salt. Pound it into the steak. Cut steak into serving pieces. Beat eggs and cream together. Dredge meat in flour; dip in egg mix and then in cracker crumbs. Brown in a large frying pan in hot oil. Turn with tongs. Cover and cook over low heat until tender.Recipe categories: Meat, Beef, Steak.
