  • can cream of chicken soup - 1 item
  • salt and pepper to taste - 1 item
  • soup can milk - 1 item
  • small onion, chopped - 1 item
  • garlic powder to taste - 1 item
  • small can green chilies, chopped - 1 item
  • 12 small corn tortillas - 1 pkg
  • to 4 cooked, chopped or shredded chicken breasts - 3 item

How to make chicken enchilada casserole:

Heat first 6 ingredients in a saucepan, stirring often. Next, layer chicken mixture with tortillas (begin with chicken). Add each shredded cheese to each layer. Top last layer with remaining cheese. Bake at 375° for 30 minutes. Set 5 minutes before serving (to ease cutting into portions).
