Chicken and broccoli casserole
Ingredients/Components
- large chicken breasts - 4 item
- medium onion - 1 item
- stalks celery - 2 item
- grated cheese - 6 8
- can chicken soup - 1 item
- cans chicken broth - 2 item
- cornstarch
- margarine - 1/2 c
- curry powder - 1 tsp
- large stalks broccoli or use frozen - 2 item
How to make chicken and broccoli casserole:
Cook chicken in water with salt, celery and onion (I use crock-pot). Remove chicken, reserving liquids, celery and onion. Remove skin and bones from chicken and break into pieces. Slightly cook broccoli and place in large baking dish. Add chicken and top with mixture of soup, chicken broth from cooking, cornstarch, mayonnaise, curry powder and Cheddar cheese.
