Cheese soup
Ingredients/Components
- milk - 3 c
- salt - 1/4 tsp
- butter - 1/4 lb
- cornstarch - 1 Tbsp
- water - 1/2 c
- boiling water - 2 c
- pepper - 1/8 tsp
- parsley - 1 Tbsp
- croutons - 1 c
- chicken bouillon cubes - 2 item
- grated Mozzarella cheese - 1/2 c
- beaten egg yolks - 2 item
- slices onion - 4 item
- dash of mace - 1 item
How to make cheese soup:
In a cup, dissolve cornstarch in water. In a bowl, dissolve bouillon cubes in boiling water. In a pot, combine onion and butter. Cook slowly until soft. Add cornstarch, bouillon and milk. Cook slowly, stirring often, until heated. Add mace, salt and pepper.In a bowl, blend egg yolks, cheese and 1 cup soup. Add cheese mixture to pot. Garnish with parsley and croutons. Serve immediately. Serves 6.
