Potato soup
Ingredients/Components
- milk - 4 c
- salt - 2 tsp
- flour - 2 Tbsp
- butter - 3 Tbsp
- boiling water
- paprika - 1/2 tsp
- pepper - 1/4 tsp
- parsley - 3 Tbsp
- onion, diced - 1 item
- large carrots, chopped - 2 item
- large potatoes, cubed - 4 item
- stalks celery and leaves, chopped - 3 item
How to make potato soup:
White Sauce:4 Tbsp. butter2 Tbsp. flour1 tsp. salt1/4 tsp. pepper4 c. milk Saute onion in butter. Add remaining ingredients. Cook until tender. Add white sauce.White Sauce: Melt butter in medium saucepan. Add flour and seasonings. Stir and cook a few minutes; do not brown. Add milk all at once and cook, stirring constantly, until thickened.
