Ingredients/Components
- flour white or whole wheat - 2 c
- sugar or 1/2 c - 2 c
- baking powder - 2 tsp
- baking soda
- cinnamon - 5 tsp
- salt - 1 tsp
- salad oil or 1 c
- eggs - 4 item
- vanilla - 2 tsp
- grated carrots - 2 c
- chopped walnuts - 1 c
- crushed pineapple, drained - 8 oz
- Bake at 350° in a 13 x 9 x 2-inch pan for 50 to 55 minutes
- cream cheese - 8 oz
- powdered sugar less if desired - 1 lb
How to make carrot cake:
Mix together the first 6 ingredients, then add the remaining 6 ingredients. Bake at 350° in a 13 x 9 x 2-inch pan for 50 to 55 minutes.Frosting:1/2 c. butter8 oz. cream cheese1 tsp. vanilla1 lb. powdered sugar (less if desired) Beat together until smooth.Recipe categories: Desserts, Cakes, Carrots.
