Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 2 c
- cinnamon - 2 tsp
- cream cheese
- eggs - 4 item
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- salt - 1 tsp
- flour - 2 c
- stick margarine - 1 item
- oil
- grated carrots - 3 c
- confectioners sugar - 3/4 1
- baking powder - 2 tsp
- baking soda - 2 tsp
- crushed nuts - 1/2 c
How to make carrot cake:
Cream Cheese Frosting:8 oz. cream cheese1 stick margarine1 tsp. vanilla3/4 to 1 lb. confectioners sugar Mix together the sugar, oil, nuts, carrots and eggs; blend thoroughly. Add to mixture the flour, baking powder, baking soda, cinnamon and salt. Bake in greased 9 x 12-inch pan for at least 1 hour in a 350° oven. Good in layers also.Frosting: Mix ingredients together. When cool, frost cake.
