  • sugar - 3 c
  • cream cheese - 8 oz
  • vanilla
  • salt - 1/4 tsp
  • flour - 3 c
  • butter
  • large eggs - 6 item
  • fresh lemon juice - 1/4 c
  • lemon peel, grated

How to make lemon pound cake:

Preheat oven to 350°. Grease and flour 10-inch angel food cake pan. Cream the butter. Add the cream cheese; beat until fluffy. Add sugar; beat 3 minutes. Add lemon juice, vanilla and lemon peel. Add eggs, 2 at a time; beat until combined. Add flour and salt; beat until smooth and creamy. Bake about 1 1/2 hours.
