- cream cheese - 8 oz
- vanilla
- salt - 1/4 tsp
- flour - 3 c
- butter
- large eggs - 6 item
- fresh lemon juice - 1/4 c
- lemon peel, grated
How to make lemon pound cake:
Preheat oven to 350°. Grease and flour 10-inch angel food cake pan. Cream the butter. Add the cream cheese; beat until fluffy. Add sugar; beat 3 minutes. Add lemon juice, vanilla and lemon peel. Add eggs, 2 at a time; beat until combined. Add flour and salt; beat until smooth and creamy. Bake about 1 1/2 hours.Recipe categories: Desserts, Cakes, Weeknight.
