Ingredients/Components

  • Crisco oil
  • sugar - 2 c
  • eggs - 3 item
  • vanilla - 2 tsp
  • cinnamon - 2 tsp
  • baking soda - 2 tsp
  • or less salt - 1 tsp
  • flour - 2 c
  • chopped walnuts - 1 c
  • raisins - 1 c
  • coconut - 1 c
  • shredded carrots - 2 c
  • 2 can crushed pineapple, drained
  • Add remaining ingredients
  • stick margarine - 1 item
  • box powdered sugar - 1 item

How to make carrot cake:

Mix oil, sugar, eggs and vanilla. Add remaining ingredients. Grease pan; bake at 350° about 50 minutes.Cream Cheese Frosting:1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened1 stick margarine1 tsp. vanilla1 box powdered sugar Cream frosting ingredients and frost cake.
