Ingredients/Components
- vanilla - 1/4 tsp
- salt - 1 tsp
- brown sugar - 2 c
- margarine or butter - 1 c
- baking soda - 1 tsp
- light corn syrup - 1/2 c
- cream of tartar - 1/4 tsp
- 3 bags microwave popcorn - 6 qt
How to make caramel corn:
Mix butter or margarine, white syrup and brown sugar in a saucepan. Bring to boiling; let boil for 6 minutes, stirring all the time. Take off heat and add cream of tartar, salt, baking soda and vanilla. Stir until foamy and pour over popcorn. Spread in cookie sheet after mixing well and coating corn.
