  • butter - 2 Tbsp
  • bay leaf - 1 item
  • parsley - 2 Tbsp
  • Burgundy wine - 1 c
  • can beef broth - 1 item
  • sirloin steak - 2 lb
  • large can mushrooms - 1 item
  • cans onions - 2 item

How to make beef burgundy:

Cut steak into large cubes. Melt the butter in a Dutch oven. When sizzling, brown the meat. Add the remaining ingredients and bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer 1 hour, covered. For the last 15 minutes, uncover and stir several times. If juice is too thin, increase heat so that excess moisture evaporates. Remove bay leaf and serve over noodles or rice.
