Beef burgundy
Ingredients/Components
- salt - 3/4 tsp
- flour - 3 Tbsp
- butter - 3 Tbsp
- water - 3/4 c
- chopped onion - 1/3 c
- dash of pepper - 1 item
- parsley - 1 Tbsp
- Burgundy wine - 3/4 c
- medium bay leaf - 1 item
- can drained mushrooms - 6 oz
- cubed sirloin steak - 2 lb
- medium crushed garlic - 1 item
How to make beef burgundy:
Cut steak into cubes. Use all flour on meat. Melt butter in skillet and brown meat. Remove from heat. Add onion, parsley, garlic, bay leaf, salt and pepper, then stir in mushrooms, wine and water. Heat until boiling. Reduce heat until simmering, then cover until meat is tender. Cook for 2 to 3 hours, slowly stirring every half hour. Remove bay leaf and serve over rice or noodles.
