  • salt
  • flour - 3 Tbsp
  • pepper - 1/4 tsp
  • onion, sliced - 1 item
  • canned tomatoes - 2 c
  • hot boiled rice 1 c - 3 4

How to make spanish pork chops:

Brown chops slowly on both sides in fat in a heavy skillet; remove chops from pan and saute onion in same pan. Add chops, tomatoes and seasoning. Cover and simmer 45 to 60 minutes, or until tender. Remove meat and thicken the tomato mixture with the flour mixed to a smooth paste with 1/4 cup water. Boil 2 to 3 minutes, stirring constantly; place rice in center of platter and arrange chops around rice. Pour tomato sauce over the chops.
