Stuffed peppers



Ingredients/Components
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- water - 1/2 c
- Worcestershire sauce - 1 tsp
- chopped onion - 1/3 c
- dash of pepper - 1 item
- ground beef - 1 lb
- medium green peppers - 6 item
- can tomatoes - 1 lb
- uncooked rice - 1/2 c
- sharp Cheddar cheese - 4 oz
How to make stuffed peppers:
Cut peppers in half; remove seeds. Precook peppers in boiling salt water for 5 minutes. Cook beef and onion until meat is browned. Season with salt and pepper. Add tomatoes, water, uncooked rice and Worcestershire sauce. Cover and simmer until rice is tender, about 15 minutes. Stir shredded cheese into beef and rice mixture. Stuff peppers and stand upright in baking dish. Bake, uncovered, at 350° for 25 minutes.Recipe categories: Main dish, Ground beef, Beef.
