Beef stew



Ingredients/Components
- water - 2 c
- Worcestershire sauce - 1 Tbsp
- diced onion - 1/2 c
- fat - 2 Tbsp
- diced carrots - 1/2 c
- diced potatoes - 1 c
- beef chuck - 1 lb
- diced turnips - 1/2 c
- zucchini squash, quartered - 3 item
How to make beef stew:
Cube and dredge with seasoned flour the beef chuck. Brown in deep well cooker, using "high" speed in the fat. Add water. Cover cooker. When boiling, turn switch to "low." After 1 1/2 hours, add all other ingredients. Turn switch to "high" until steaming, then speed 6 until vegetables are tender. Remove vegetables and meat from stock. Mix 1/4 cup flour with 1/2 cup cold water and thicken stock. Combine. Time: 2 hours. Yield: 6 servings.Recipe categories: Main dish, Beef, Stew.
