  • flour - 1/2 c
  • salt and pepper to taste - 1 item
  • fat - 1/4 c
  • green pepper, chopped - 1/2 item
  • onion, sliced - 1/2 c
  • can tomatoes - 1 item
  • round steak - 2 lb

How to make swiss steak:

Pound flour, salt and pepper into meat; heat fat and brown on each side, then add onion, pepper and tomatoes. Cook slowly for 2 hours. May be cooked inside oven or covered on top of stove.
