Ingredients/Components
- flour - 1/2 c
- salt and pepper to taste - 1 item
- fat - 1/4 c
- green pepper, chopped - 1/2 item
- onion, sliced - 1/2 c
- can tomatoes - 1 item
- round steak - 2 lb
How to make swiss steak:
Pound flour, salt and pepper into meat; heat fat and brown on each side, then add onion, pepper and tomatoes. Cook slowly for 2 hours. May be cooked inside oven or covered on top of stove.Recipe categories: American, Main dish, North american.
