Baked sweet onions
Ingredients/Components
- water - 1/2 c
- paprika - 1 tsp
- salt and pepper to taste - 1 item
- unsalted butter - 6 Tbsp
- large sweet onions, peeled and sliced - 6 item
- sprigs fresh rosemary leaves - 3 item
- parmesan-divided - 1/3 c
How to make baked sweet onions:
Set oven to 400. Spray glass baking dish with Pam and layer onions. Dot with butter and tuck rosemary in on layers. Sprinkle with salt and pepper and 1/2 parmesan cheese. Add 1/2 cup water and cover with foil. Bake 30 minutes.Remove foil and sprinkle with remaining parmesan. Bake 10 minutes more or until golden brown. Serves 8.
