- grated cheese - 1 item
- cracker crumbs - 1 item
- small can mushrooms - 1 item
- button garlic - 1 item
- can green asparagus tips - 1 item
- boiled eggs, cut up - 2 item
- butter, milk and flour - 1 item
How to make asparagus casserole:
Drain liquid from the asparagus and the mushrooms and place in a boiler. Add enough butter, milk and flour to this liquid to make a white sauce. Add garlic that has been put through a garlic press to the white sauce. Place the asparagus in a casserole. Add mushrooms, eggs, cracker crumbs and grated cheese. Pour sauce on it and stir. Cover the top with cracker crumbs and bake in a 350° oven for about 30 minutes.Recipe categories: Asparagus, Main dish, Casseroles.
